From this foundation, Dr. Hendry builds an individualized treatment plan that may include acupuncture therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, functional medicine consultation, and targeted nutritional support.

One of the most distinctive features of our practice is our full in-house herbal pharmacy. Many acupuncture clinics refer patients elsewhere for Chinese herbal formulas, creating delays and gaps in care. We stock an extensive formulary of professional-grade, tested herbal medicines on site.

Dr. Hendry prescribes custom herbal formulations tailored to each patient's constitution and condition — not a one-size-fits-all supplement. Our pharmacy includes classical formulas, granule extracts, and single-herb preparations. Every product meets rigorous quality standards for purity and potency. We see patients of all ages with both acute and chronic conditions. Many of our patients have complex health issues that haven't resolved with conventional care alone — including chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, hormonal imbalances, digestive disorders, and neurological conditions. We also see patients seeking preventive care and health optimization.
No referral is needed. You can book directly by calling (864) 365-6156. If you have been referred by a physician, we welcome that collaboration and will communicate with your referring provider as appropriate.
Bring a list of current medications and supplements, any recent lab work or imaging results, and a brief summary of your health history and current concerns. Wearing loose, comfortable clothing is recommended if acupuncture will be part of your initial visit.
Your first visit typically lasts 60–90 minutes. This allows Dr. Hendry to conduct a thorough health history, perform diagnostic assessments (including tongue and pulse diagnosis), and begin developing your individualized treatment plan.
